hj60 reverse switch wiring

hey all ive fitted a 5 speed from a hj60 into my fj45 and ever since ive been blowing the reverse light fuse whenever i use reverse

anyone know if they should be the same or if the one on the 5 speed is stuffed ??

60 series are normaly negitivly switched

so if you have connected a positive wire to one side of the switch, and you operate the switch it is a direct short.

Try running your groud wire to the switch and see if that fixes the problem
