Buying a Pajero SWB

Post by alastairreilly »

Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy a Pajero SWB 4x4 NL GLS 98' or 99'. I currently don't have a car and a lot of mates who have 4x4s and want to get in on the weekend actions and getaways.

I have been looking for a few weeks, and not in a huge rush, just looking for the right car and price. I wanted to ask some people who are in the know or have or still are owners about these, as I haven't driven one yet but have always wanted one.

Firstly I want to to know what I should be looking for when buying one. And also if the one I buy is pretty standard, how much is it going to cost me to put on some extras. mainly a bull bar, good ariel, and maybe boost it a little and some good tyres, as i just want to jump in right away.

Thanks in advance for any help guys, looking forward to the expertise and answers. [/b]

I have always regretted selling my NL swb. I found it to be the best Swb I ever owned, and would jump on another in a heartbeat.

Go for it!

Sourcing a rear locker was the only major dilemma I faced, but persistance with reap rewards.

As for how much to spend on it, well, it will never end.
