What condition is the motor in? And what sort of driving are you doing?

Taking what AJ is corectly asking into account, IMO put the highest quality oil you can afford into it.

If the engine is a real junker then perhaps the cheap oil might be justified but......

As for SAE rating, if its used off road i.e subject to the traditional Feroza overheating then keep the viscosity up at the 20W50 or a little more especially if its done a fw km's.

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

yer well i use it during the week around the city
then on w.e do a fair bit of off-roading
