Just replaced engine, straight swap for another 1ltr..
Could just be me, but (asides from it being a 1lts) can you pick a funny noise at all??

tappets are a common problem with 1ltrs, i just reco'ed the head on mine and am yet to adjust the tappets properly with feeler gauges, runs ok just a bit tappy.
Im goin out to the p-lines tmoz in my ute if your keen for a spin

just rebuilt my 1lt and all the bushes in the timing case are floged out and it makes a sort of rattleing noise and or tappets or exhaust least kinda hard to tell from that vid but yeah check that stuff out

In retrospect the vids are fairly pointless, as most will have different speakers etc..
She is pretty loud inside mind you..I thought at least this way as the work is carried out I can go back and listen to the difference..

Do most people put any sound-proofing in?
