DIRTY ROTTEN SH177Y polyurethane bushes in panhard rods

Post by xy_ute »

Hi, was just wondering who out there is running polyurethane bushes in their panhard rods, and what sort of life you get out of them ??

i have a 5 inch lift, and got about 5 months out of my 1st run of panhard bushes, they started to crack and get a fair bit of play, so i got a new front n rear set under warranty, and now these have lasted 3 months...

we went for a play last night, pull onto the highway afterwards and it had headshake that bad at 60ks on the entry ramp that the front wheels were screaching... so pulled up at the servo jumped under to make sure it was all tight, got a mate to wobble the steering wheel and there is about 4mm side to side play in the lower bush..

i know that genuine rubbers ones are the way to go, and thats what im getting now, couldnt be f!@ked getting more shit ones under warranty..

but seriously... 3 months???

cheers Tyler.

About 12,000 km's on this set and I'm starting to get a wobble again.

I didn't get much more out of a set of rubber bushes. :?
