Not many entries, come on guys & girls. I went up to the property on the weekend to help out with the working bee. The guys up there have put in a lot of hard work to get the tracks ready for us. There is a combination of high speed runs, technical rock driving, winching & even water.

If anyone is interested in pre-running the tracks there is another working bee this weekend. The guys really need to put some race trucks over the stages, it's only 3 hours away. Pitch in if you can.

Would be great to see some of the girls from Chick Winch entering.
Owen I think you should hand over the keys again & Lisa it would be good to see you there giving the boys a run for their money.
LOL!!!!!!! I will be there Scott!!! Just have to get off my arse and put the form in. I could hand the keys over but i wont. Then again i dont mind getin shown up by my wife. A bit of throttle control and shed be a force to contend with i reckon!!!!! Looks like its gona be a fun one and im pumped!!!!!!!
To all coming up to spectate or marshall...... Get your mates involved. Bring as many people up to watch as possible. This is an exciting form of motor sport and everyone should see at least one race a year. Its always good to see the look on a new spectators face when they say "there not goin up there are they?" GET OUT AND SUPPORT THE AUSTRALIAN WINCH CHALLANGE SCENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am half interested in competing ( is only ~2 hours from where I live )
...but I don't have a winch. Would lockers and 35" boggers be enough for most tracks?

You will definatly need a winch & good batteries
You would also need rope (not cable)

I would say no dogs are allowed because they aren't allowed at any other 4wd event.

you might be able to fabricate an adaptor to have twin ratchets, but then i guess you might not be in production class

Will start driving some stages tomorrow :D
We just need to peg out the last 2 stages & spread the road base on the track in & were all done
We have rain predicted for Monday & Tuesday so should become nice & slippery
Bring on next weekend

I was just checking the weather forecast http://www.eldersweather.com.au/nsw/sou ... pes/albury for the week and they are tipping rain for the rest of the week till Thursday, and showers after that.
Will make things very interesting for the comp.
In an email Smithy stated that if it rains the hills bleed water.
Bring it on I cant wait!!!! See you all there.

There is alot of teck courses as well as the high speed & no wast6e deep water for navis to run through just 2 dams
Lets hope its a full feild of competitors as I'm sure you'll love the property
