Hey Guys, after much anguish and a few threats, I unfortunately will not be able to help out this year as an Official.

Having missed my daughters' 16th, 18th and 20th, birthdays it would be a fate worse than death if I miss her 21st.

Sorry MMM, but having been there from the first one in Rocky I would like to help out again, but it will be PARTY TIME at home instead.

Best of luck to all the competitors and try and be nice to the other officials, PLEASE.

Catch ya

I be there Dave, not sure if Josh can make it yet. Rocky's a great event for Queensland, closer to northern competitors. Shame you can't make it Duncan, hope Dave can find some replacements.
Talk soon
Scott.

I never realized how hard it would be to get dinner for 150 people on Saturday night in Rocky.

But it has happened, thanks to Geoff from Qld Cruisers for giving me this lead.

Dinner Saturday night will be at the Historical Glenmore Homestead.

So get in early with the extra seats you want (there are 60 available) $35 per head.

Extra dinner tickets are to be paid for at time of entry.

Cheers

Only 3 and a bit weeks to go.

It is a pity that we have not got any entries from the very deep south.

We do miss Victorians up here.

If you cannot bring your vehicle up and compete, join the crowd & fly up. If you let me know that you are going to come and have a look I will even get you picked up from the airport & returned. Just bring a swag.

This event is not alcohol free, you have to bring your own. Only the competitors & officials are to be alcohol free.

If you like crowd participation, great venue, close to a Major city then Rocky is has to be the one of the best event areas that one could compete at.

So if you game come and play at Round 2 of the ARB XWC.

Cheers

Have got a few ideas, but at the moment I do not know.

Why do you ask? It worked very well for spectators (apart for a few trouble makers at the end).

Will have more security this year anyway.

ARB XWC Round 2

Post by XTREME MMM »

:D :D :D

I am leaving for Rocky on Friday 12th June, so if you can have your entries in by then would be great (Trophies & Saturday Dinner to organise).

It has been very busy this end as it will be at Round 2 this year.

There will be Security Guards keeping an eye on everyone on Friday & Saturday night (I would hate to have a repeat of last year).

There will be 2 camps set up:- One for competitors, families and clubs and one for people just staying one night.

Security have already been directed to evict anyone or groups for that mater for unruly behaviour.

Cheers

Hi Jason, yes it is. As this is an old homestead and could be a bit open it would be a good idea to bring some warm ones as has been suggested.

Numbers are looking good with some new teams as well. So if you have not got your entry in yet give me a call.

It is a pity the "Cockroachers" have only got 2 good Teams to do battle against the "Mighty Canetoads", but you never know all the Canetoads could break down, if that happened   you would have a win ;) ;)

Hi Troy, pity that you are not competing but I can use you as an official.

I will arrive Saturday night and will be at Jasons place. Will be going out to Seeonee Park on Sunday morning to drop of gear, than onto Davo's place to look at for EFS XI, will be back at Seeonee around lunch.

To all those that want to be involved, why not come out to Seeonee Park around lunch time and see what we have planed for the weekend.

I must say I am very pleased with the amount of entrants, this is going to be a top weekend.
