hey all i own a 95 range rover hse auto and have a clunking noise comminf from gearbox/transfercase when under load ive been told this is cause by a chain getting sloppy and jumping the cogs just need info on this problem and how to fix and costs cheers

It's not really a common problem & seeing as the chain itself is over $1000 from LR, you'd be better off getting a second hand transfer case.

Get in touch with 'son of bundalene' on eBay - he wrecks P38s & seems to get good rates on transport.
He should be on here too as 'andrew e'.

These guys in the US do sell the chains for about $100. Maybe email them, can't see it on the list.
