Lux brake upgrades

Post by Breaker Brother »

With the new NCOPs coming in and having to have my Lux re-engineered this time including the 35's, I'm looking to upgrade the brakes. I'm already in the process of putting a wide track kit on it so the Disc offset isn't that important as I can get custom spacers made if Necessary

So far I already run the later ventilated brakes from a 60 series cruiser on it (DB780), has anybody put a larger diameter rotors on them ?

After a looking through the DBA website it looks like the late 2006 on FJ rotors (DB2716) look like they'll go close to fitting straight on
they're almost 40mm bigger in diameter and 8mm thicker, the bore size is slightly bigger but that can be fixed with the spacer.

Has anybody else done anything like this before ?

its only been 2 hours, and you are asking a relatively obscure question about a specific product. give it a little time.

14 Actually, although it was more intended as Bump than anything else, posts tend to get lost on this forum it's so busy
