winch solioids

Post by Walrus »

Don't bother. Winch solioids should be of good quality only. Shit ones will lead to extra heat, more currant draw, slow running and eventually burning out motors. I would recomend Allbright 200AMP solid state solonoid. The Allbright solinoids are compact and have proven well on 6hp motors along with descent wiring(50mm2 or bigger from battery). Titan is an equivelant brand, but have seen 3 fail from new or a couple of trips old. In summary BIGGER IS BETTER where electrical is concerned.
