Hi All, I have a webber, and many here poo poo them, mate has a stuffed carby on his sierra, and its expensive to send away and rebuild.
I cannot find anything here, but many say the vitara carby is as good as a webber performance wise, and no incline issues.
Couple of questions.
One being a 1.6l and the other a 1.3l, do you have to rejet, or leave well alone.
Is it a direct fit, as in same base and hookup.
Thanks.

If it breaks, excellent, time for an upgrade
From what I know they are a direct bolt on. If you improve the intake and exhuast to allow it to breathe better you might find that it'll give you a bit more increase in power as well.
I used a nikki twin barrel carby from an old mitsubishi van a little while back and it had a mechanical secondary rather than vacuum. It's response and performance was a lot better than the zook carb. only thing to make the most of it you had to die grind the intake on the manifold to accept the bigger primary and secondary butterflies. it was a straight bolt on though.
