Post by mitch_mac »

hey all

once again i have another problem *groan* / broken the paj haha

went 4wding on saturday night to beerwah and the old paj got a fair bit of a thrashing and taking places it shouldnt really go but i guess thats what its all about

i have lost 4wd completely i no my cvs are warn but not broken

would it be the vaccume that runs the transfer case?

also a comletely different issue is my rear diff locker that i have wired to switch but it still isnt working for me what should i next look at to get it to work? i no that the compressor works

this is what ive been told so im kinda stabbing in the dark about were to start to look for my problem so once again if someone could help me that would be great!

cheers mitch

Vacuum doesn't operate the transfer case.

Work out with process of elimination whith what is broken. ie. Th front cv's, diff, driveshaft etc.

You hear the pump working for the rear diff lock? Does the pump stop after about 3 - 5 seconds or keep pumping?

If it stops and the light stops flashing and your diff still isn't locked then its kaput.
