Hey Ben,

Sounds like you have put in alot of effort to make this trip happen, and you cant please all the people all the time, so keep doing what you do and it will all work out on the night.

I ran my first night run for our club and I was worried if it would be to easy and to hard in places, well I can tell you that on the night we had 22 vehicles and the "hard core" guys were happy with the hard and the "easy" guys were happy too.

All the feed back we got was all good.

Ben, mate, Di is 100% right. No matter how well you plan your night run, no matter what checkpoints you put in, you are not going to keep everybody happy. I mean, you could even have somebody that is happy with the run, but stoves in a door during the night, and says it was a sh*t run. Not because he thought it was a sh*t run, but because he damaged his car. It happens, don't take it personally.
By the same token, if someone has a reasonable complaint, such as the map, don't take it as an offence. See it as 'constructive critisism'. The only way to make your next run better than your last, is to listen to the 'constructive critisism' from the last one.

night run

Post by nat34 »

Hi all,

I need some definate numbers and so does Ben to be able to cater for this run.

How many people will be joining the club on the night??

How many people will be buying club shirts?? They are $25.00 each shirt.

Simon is correct is say ing the we do have to pay Association fees of $11.00 per membership for all clubs that you join. Please take this into consideration when paying for your memberships on Saturday night.

See you there.

Thanks guys, your support is very appreciated. There will be people on site all day Saturday, we are on Channel 24, or you can get us on mobile, Nat has all those details if anyone needs it.

Also those that help with the run, can't compete, but they can drive the course whenever they like as well. The hard run will have minimil checkpoints or observation points, so others can watch or drive. There will be recovery vehicles about as well :D :D

Ben, just wanted to check with you. The club UHF channel is 23, are you wanting to use that, or stick with 24?? Just a query mate.

Hang on Dan....

Haven't you driven the course??
That'd be an unfair advantage to a driver. You know where the course goes. I won't allow it!!! :bad-words:   :finger:

I know where it is but do not know the map. Ben has changed it alot since I saw it. And I think he had to change it last night again.

But if it is not allowed it is not allowed.

Small enough area I will just run around and watch the carnage.

Was hoping to catch up with you on this run and give you your magazine - oh well maybe next time????

For all those that are coming - "GOOD ON YOU" - the support for this run has been great.

Can't wait to SEE or READ a report on this run - shhhhhh anyone can do a report.... The magazine goes together for printing on Monday - "Hint Hint"
