Rims and tyres on a Courier?

Post by supersean89 »

How big can they go without rubbing and needing to cut the body?

Will a lift allow me ti fit wider rims and tyres?

hi mate
Ive got 30x9.5 bighorns under mine and they fit nice and are are not wrecking my economy.
A mate of mine runs 31's in bfg muds they seem a lot tighter under the guards so both fit ok.
both vehicles run stock suspension so you may bigger after some springs or a bodylift.

They would be close to 235X15 standard.
30x9.5x15 is a good size for them without affecting performance if your only doing mild to medium stuff, mine will go everywhere that i'd want to take it.
31's sometimes workout cheaper to buy though as its a more common size, either size would probably be fine.
The reason I chose 30's is that I tow a lot and weights up to 3 tonnes, mine is a 40. v6 but they have a tall first gear so I didn't want to negatively affect the gearing if possible.
If I get a chance I'll try and get a pic of the 30's on her.
cheers andrew.
