HELP! TB45 manual on a TB42 auto

Post by GQshoty89 »

hey just run into some striff this weekend with the engfing conversion on my GQ 89 tb42q. I bought a TB45 manual motor that was for sale off here few weeks ago and told it would all line up, how ever the centre of the end end of the crank on the TB45 is different to the centre of the end of the crank on the tb42 (wheer it connects to the torque convertor.

The bolts that bolt the flex plate are all the same its just the center part where the male connection of the torque converor slots in differ.

Is it possible to get an adapter or should it fit? or will i have to get a whole new crank !

ill post some pictures tomorow

cheers
