I suggest you run out and get the latest issue of 4wd action, it contains a Jimny buyers guide. Series 1 had the G13BB (not the good motor), transfer lever and no airbags. Series 1.5 has the M13A (good motor), transfer lever and no airbags. Series 2 has the M13A but airbags. I think series 3 might be when they went to push button transfer activation.
Basically the M13A is the better of the two motors but things like air bags, and push button 4wd can make modifying difficult and can have reliability issues offroad.
Off topic, if you're Sar then who's pinky?

34's on jimny
did u need a guard chop and that lift to fit 34's???
Yep they are 34/9s
The bar is a ARB non winch bar I believe you can get them in the none winch or winch type. It has been cut at the guards.
Yep Shit loads of chopping to get those tyres on there and now thanks to Danks help the fire wall has been trimmed too. Also big bump stops required, still to be done .

2001 Jimny, 34inch Swampers, 3inch springs, 1inch B/L, Arb bar, lightforce 170s, twin batteries, 6.5 transfer, twin airlockers, Warn M8000 winch.
4wd systems do sierra ones .. perhaps with some arm twisting you could get Jimny ones as well .. otherwise you will need to look to the asian market.jdk81 wrote:Good cheap winch bullbar? Check OL + auszookers in the 4sale section, check fleabay.
Consider a custom made winch bullbar, as the arb one is around $950.
Long range fuel tanks, I dont think arb list one for the jimny as yet.
Cheaper option is just to buy jerry cans and carry/use as needed.
