TD42 - water temp sender location

Hey guys Just wondering where the water temperature sender unit is, there is 2 in the thermostat but which one

i am installing an after market water temp guage..

have searched but it didnt work for me and nothing in bible.. also cannot find my patrol book to look it up all help much appreiciated!

Those 2 are a different setup than an aftermarket guage. I just drilled and tapped mine into the top of the thermostat housing. So i have both gauges now. Seems to work ok.

i cut my top radiator hose in half and put a water temp sender with the thread and put the sender in that and run it straight to my autometer gauge works good
mq patrol, zorst, spotties, lft ect

The smaller fitting of the two (one closest to radiator is your temp sender).
