waeco fridge freezing everything

i have a waeco cf35 and even at the lowest setting it still freezes everything, is this normal?

and when i turn it off the motor stays on, for it to turn off i need to completely unplug it. is that also normal?

I have heard the weaco fridges have problems with the control modules & they fix them under warranty.

On my CF-80 there is an override switch in case the electronics fail.
It just runs the compressor flat out regardless of the setting.

Maybe that is on?

It's a red switch on the bottom of your fridge below your control panel.

that would be it, my kids played with mine and it ran flat out freezing everything, i thought it was stuffed but just needed to switch it back :roll:

what should it be switched to? on or off??

mine is on -thought that switch was for the cut off so you didnt drain your battery..???

Common problem with Waecos. You can allegedly get a replacement electrical unit for a reasonable price which should fix your problem.

I've got an engel so don't have to worry about it :finger:

The one I mentioned should be off but there will be another switch which does what you describe.
