Warby pics

Post by grimbo »

Just some pics from a club run we did on the weekend to Warburton. Up Cemetary, down Justice, up Britania Creek/Range, up Ellis and down Britannia Creek/Range.

1 rolled Sierra
1 almost rolled Sierra (see above)
1 almost endoed Sierra
1 deadish 1 litre Sierra engine
1 hummer
1 gwagen
1 Nissan Srd20 engined Sierra

Good fun very dry with heaps of traction hence the rollover and near endo. I was the lucky near endo as the swampers found grip where they shouldn't have and put the front where it shouldn't have been. The face of he bullbar was touching the ground. After a quick pucker check I keyed it out only to repeat the exercise about 5 seconds later. Again quick pucker check and keyed away. Unfortunately this was just after the roll so everyone was a head of me so no pics.

The rollover was on his second trip in a nice shiny stock sierra. Basically wheel in the wrong rut and over she went. He was very calm about the whole thing.

Good fun trip. here's some pics

ok here goes
85 4 door diesel, auto, twin factory diff locks, Q78 swampers, bead locks, 3" susp lift from GTS Suspension, rancho 9000s, air tank with outlets front and rear, Coop devil stickers. The thing is alsmost unstoppable very impressive it just climbs and climbs and has a surprising amount of wheel travel, very balanced.

It would have been a bit tight on some of the tracks...

Tonka,

That G wagon was in 4WD Monthly a year or so ago. Also ran Vic's CruiserKhana about the same time it was in the mag ...

Very impressive rig, was what made me consider them as my next vehicular ... would crawl up a wall no worries!

it went fine had to be a little careful on a few tracks with fallen timber but walks over most things but then so did the locked zooks and the gwagen all at the fraction of a cost
