Yes they are N76's which I'm told are for buggys.
I paid $135 and they are noticable softer than a 9012.
I know they are about an inch longer than Gregs old rear shocks.

Yesterday I managed to get the new clutch fitted as well as the gearbox, I also sprayed the bare metal bits around the chassis extension & gave the front guards a coat of primer.
Picked up some more C channel for the shackles (The first set were a fraction to short).
Dropped my tcase off at Total 4wd for the 6:1, will hopefully get it back this time next week.
Also swapped my 15x8's with a set of 15X7's that Rod was wanting to offload, they are in at the wheel repairers getting the centres punched out and offset to 2.5 inch back spacing they should be done by the weekend.
The rest of the week will be spent sanding and painting, I paid the reg and transfer so its legally drivable.
I still need to work out how I am going to re-mount the flares and have them easily removable plus service the engine and wire up the tail lights.
All things going to plan I should be able to take it out next weekend.

Mount them to something flat (i.e. sheet metal / aluminium), and then use some bolts with wingnuts (good idea grimbo ) to attach them to the flat panels on the car (via some little holes that you have drilled in them)...
Or, get bling and use some Dsuz fasteners (do a search in General Tech - i raised a topic about those a while ago)...

Yep I was thinking of a strip of right angle aluminium attached to the flare with 2 quick realease nuts for each flare.

Alternatively you could attach them with zip ties - then when you break your accelerator cable - you'll be good to go in minutes
Hey thats not fair, I have never broken a throttle cable, merely supplied the cable ties to fix one (and we all know I fixed it better than stock anyway).

Mate they are massive... - no - not really - they are supposed to be able 33.6" brand new... however, definately not big enough for what you are building... You need some Q78's or something i reckon - check out Liam's 'Unsafe' - he is running these
It is sitting higher than it will, bare in mind there is no doors no screen, no bonnet or bikini bar and the springs are brand new, currently the shackles are sitting vertical so it should come don an inch or too.
But on small tyres of course it looks tall, like a SPOA on 31's

Just woundering wat sort of price punching out the centre of sunnys are and rewelding them up? I m trying to make my zook as wide as possible without wheel spaces.

I'm paying $35 per wheel plus GST, I believe it is $40+GST if tyres are still fitted to the rims.
Note, "as much offset as possible" will only make it harder to steer.
