Diesel Owners...

Post by bogged »

From the TLCC Magazine.

Hi all Toyota and Nissan 4WD diesel owners in Oz, (but mostly those in ACT and NSW)

A gracious offer has been made to diesel heads in the 4WD community by Cooma Diesel Services and Denco Diesel. A diesel information day!.

Come along and learn about
* Basic fuel injection system
* Fuel pump repairs and pump test bench's
* Pump timing (static Vs dynamic)
* Injector servicing - what works and why
* Turbocharger operation and repair
* ECU fuel systems, DENSON/TOYOTA and ZEXEL/NISSAN
* Diesel tuneups - why, how, benefits
* Diesel diagnostics - mechanical and electrical
* Chassis Dyno - we'll hook up a few!
* Aftermarket turbocharger fitment
* Intercoolers
* Dtronic/chip upgrades - See the dyno difference
* Diesel fuel - filters, sulphur

This day is being sponsored and taught by the leading Denso/Toyota and Zexel/Nissan workshops in Australia. These shops have direct access to the manufacturers of the diesel fuel injection setup that is in your truck. This information day will be held on Saturday, 7th February 2004 at Cooma Diesel Services in Fyshwick, Canberra. The day will kick off at 8am and we hope to finish 'around' 5pm, but this will depend on those attending. Lunch and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.

The number of attendees will be limited to manageable numbers so if you're interested put your name down now!. While this day will be casual, it will be covering a lot of diesel ground (on less fuel ;-) and is being presented to educate diesel owners.

If interested, please reply to this topic by emailing dieselfumes4me@yahoo.com
