I thought that you needed to sen the intermediate shaft o be modified and to quote serial numbers so the parts suit.
Cheers

Only if you want to buy another intermediate gear. The "normal" method is to remove your intermediate gear and send it to them for modification.

I have been contacted by a few guys that were originally keen but due to their current financial situation, hvae pulled out.
I am still keen to purchase the gears, but Warren made it pretty clear that the numbers had to be very close to 10 to get the better pricing.
Perhaps after Easter the topic can be revisited and we can get some numbers on who would be in on a buy.
I think via PM would be better next time.

Hi Micka,
I am probably still in for an after easter buy.
Perhaps we can still get the 10+ if we advertise this here and on AULRO.

Hey guys...
Well its after Easter and probably about time to re-visit the group buy thing. I have received a few PMs from a couple of you, but as per earlier posts, we need as close to 10 people as possible to get the better price.
So in an attempt to get the ball rolling again.. please add your name to the list.

Ok...so we are at a grand total of 4 sets.
How much longer should we leave it to see if there are any other takers?

Yeah Ben I think that would be a good idea. I don't we are going to get the numbers needed from this site alone.
Can you pls post it up on there?

hey guys, seeing I'm running 4.11 cwp in my Disco and 245/75/16's with possiblity of 315/75/16 at a later stage , what would be a more suitable gear reduction for crawlling over obstacles , 30% or 49%?
I'm also really keen on this group buy thing?

.........
Edit: Guys I'm removing my name from the list , a low range gear reduction of even 30% won't be suitable for my style of driving , as I do a lot of sand driving at Stockton beach etc , so I'm gonna
pull out of this deal.

Micka
I'd be in for two sets if we can work out the exchange bits easily enough.
Both sets for the 1.2 ratio Q T cases.

I reckon we call it at that.
I will speak to Warren on Monday and see how we go for 8 sets. With the way things have been going in the world, I'm sure we can wrangle a good price right now.
