Diffs a'hoy
Well we got a shitload done this weekend, spazbot and gruntless helped me all day saturday, ground all mounts off the diff, cut spring mounts off and rotated the diff for better pinion angle, welded them and new trailing arm mounts back on, just a tip, if you hand your welder over to travis, don't expect to get it back, but you'll be damn glad you did. Awesome stuff !!! And today i was a lazy prick, all i did was weld a bit of plate over the breather hole [it's in the way] and cut the new A frame mount, positioned it over the diff but haven't started welding yet. I need some more flatbar etc so it can all be done in one day. Thanks james and travis for all the help, champion effort.

Yeah the diff is back under Bj, had enough of the car swaying around on our booty fab jack stands.
I was gonna go for heims as carlton says but changed my mind at the last minute. The lower arms will have Snake Racing's new joints at both ends, the A frame will be bushed at the chassis end.
The tailshaft needs lengthening anywayz so i think a double carden is definatly on the cards. Rotating the diff has taken alot of stress off the uni's though by the looks of it. I had some chronic vibrations before.
Travis is coming up to help me again this weekend so we'll see how close we get to broom broom !!

It seems alot easier to take a 9" grinder to a truck when the truck dont belong to you :-)

also remember if your pinion angle is going to be different to the factory angle, you may need a cardan shaft to stop the vibes (street driven that is)
nice welds!
