Need to remove steering knuckle to replace seals, FJ45 I need the Toyota Special Service Tool (part number 09606-60020) can any one tell me if they are available in Aus? do I need a second mortgage to buy one? or if anyone has one they want to sell?? :?

As weiner said id doubt ya will need it the swivel pins will come out fairly easy ive never had a bad one yet and ive done more than i can remember

I wouldnt bother, the top retainer should come off easily with a few light taps with a hammer, and the bottom retainer can be removed with a few hits from a brass drift through the top hole.

Just my luck to get the 1 in a million wish I had same luck in lotto :twisted: , they have moved so far but stopped short of being able to get it off, I made up a SST as per weiner's link will see if it comes off tonight, be interesting to see how other side comes off.
