guys, have just pulled engine apart on my warn 8000.
How the hell do you get the little springs in the bottom and the powered things (not sure what there called - like little traingular shapes with wires hooked up) to stay in the slots while you replaced main shaft?? looks very fiddly to me..

94 zook, 2" body lift, 30.5" bfg muddies, custom bar, warn 8000, 240 XGT's, extractors and 2" exhaust.
Push them all back in with small screwdrivers to hold them while you slide the armature back in. helps to have 6 hands while doing this job.
be carfull not to damage the wire connections as they are sometime brittle.

its called the brush holder. most have small holes that will accept split pins to hold the brushes in. once assembled remove the split pins and 'hey presto'!
