hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows the reccomended running psi for 33 cooper STT on the road??

depends on vehicle, driving conditions, load in the vehicle.

Try the 4psi rule and see how you go.

my tip is simlar just keap an eye on you tyres if their wereing on the outside egdes or over heating add more air but if their wereing the middle drop a little bit of air out
you might find that the front and rear will need diffrent presurse

If your tyres are at the optimum pressure, after they have reached operating temperature, the pressure of the tyre will have increased by 4psi.

If they increased less, drop some air.

If they increased more than 4 psi, add some air.

depends on what you drive.. my hilux with these tyres were 32psi front and 30 psi pn the rear.... but a hilux is only light..

I usually just put whatever the sidewall says as max PSI.

Nope.

Never had problems, and never had a flat in any of my 4x4 tires. Drop them for offroad/dirt.

you should try running the pressure on your tyre placard (usually inside the drivers door theres a sticker).

your handling, braking, tyre wear, everything will change - and you'll like it.

i run 20psi in the tyres on my zuk (31" STT's).
The worst thing about censorship is ███████.

I've been running 33" (285/75R16) STTs for a few years now.

On road, I run 36 psi (cold pressure), whether fully loaded (2340 GVM ;) ) or lightly loaded. That was arrived at using the 4psi rule on trips, but it's probably a little excessive when lightly loaded.

That isn't always the right pressure tho, car compamys work out the pressure that will lean towards a good ride rather than the other factors. When I had My Sierra I had 31s and ran 30psi better tyre life without sacrificing the ride or handling
