CB's are they ok?
Have a couple old CB's. Wondering if it is worth me and a mate fitting them what sort of range can you expect running one of the cheap black 3ft arials to another 3ft arial?
Cheers

on a clear day using sideband (if yours has it ) can get a lot further than a uhf would but like was stated it depends on the atmosphere .
i'm about to reinstall one of my am's as the uhf is always being used by someone . and the am's are cheap to buy and if you have sideband you will more than likely have a p.a as well wich is good for yelling at the twit in front of you guiding you into a rock
