4runner/Surf/BundyPrado Rear Coil?

Post by Remydog05 »

Did a search
Looked in the bible but got different info?

Which years are 4Runners/Surfs/Bundys Coils?

Is bundy the only one that is rear offset diff?

Are any of them rear Disk brake?

Prado are all Coils and Disk brake from what I know but how wide are they compared to the others?

Thanks

4runner and surf from 89 onwards
All bundera are coiled (from 87 i think)
Bundera is the only one listed that is offset.
Prado is the only disc and is 1"wider than an IFS rear hosing from memory. I think i have the measurements somewhere, i'll try and dig them up.

Thanks Stumpy

So what is the IFS lux width?

So is the Leaf Sprung MWB 73's (not the coil bundy) offset diff or only 75 series?

At least they are all narrower than 60's.

IFS housings are 51"wide.
All landcruiser rear diffs are offset to the drivers side except for very early 40 series and prado diffs.
60 series are 58"wide.

So What is Solid Axel Coil front? Just Bundy with the Radius arms or 80/100?

And 75 width is about same as lux?

What is 79's width? There Coil radius front and Leaf Rear yeah?

Coil fronts- bundera, 79, 80, and 100 series

Bundera housing's and 80 series arms won't bolt in. The bush spacing is different but it wouldn't be hard to modify the control arm bracket on the bundera housing.
75 series diff is 55"wide (i'm pretty sure)
79 series very close (possible the same as) the 75 series. The diffs are coiled in the front and use the same control arms as the 80/100 series as well as the 8"high pinion center. They also have the Larger CV's in them (the same as 80 series). The rear diff is leaf sprung.

Sorry didnt explain that very well

What is Solid Axel and Coil front?
Just Bundy/80/100 with the Radius arms. (And now I realise 79!)

Whats disk brake rear, 80/100/Prado and nothing else?
