What light would go in this bar?

Post by paulv »

Trying to figure out what indicator light would go in the bar on my sj80 sierra.

None of the options in the narva catalog seem to be the right size.
The lights for TJM bars are definitely different size.

The cut out is about 180mm wide by 70mm high, the distance between the screw hole mounts is about 155mm

Could it be that the lights from a standard Sierra bumper might fit?

Thoughts? comments?

yep - mypix.com has a small banner add at the top of the page.

Don't know what other site to use for putting up pic - that doesn't require registration/logon etc.

Makes it a bit hard to explain what I am asking without putting up pics.

Anyone know of a 180x70mm indicator?
Anyone know what kind of bar that is? looks like it has been manufactured, rather than home grown.

Thank you.
Imageshack - right, will use them in the future.

Now that we can all see what we are looking at, anyone know what light would fit in there?

how big is a standard indicator from the standard front bumper?
180 x 70mm?

looks to me, judging by how the bar doesn't suit the car at all it is designed for the older model sierras, i would say it is designed for the genuine Suzuki indicator Parker assemblies.

Thank you.

I have now acquired a left and right indicator/parker assembly - apparently to suit the older model Sierra bumpers.

$35 each new from local wrecker.

Looking at the box, looks like it was imported from India.
- sez it is made by Lumax industries, New Delhi to suit a Maruti Gypsy.

See how we go.

If its for a Maruti then its from India, the Maruti Gypsy is a suzuki sierra trayback (or more correctly a bastard mix of suzuki parts that end up imitating a suzuki trayback) in India.
