after lifting my shorty 4 inches iv noticed the slip joint has slid quite abit out, is it possible to put a 20mm spacer on the back of the handbrake drum to prevent any damage occuring?
another problem is iv lengthend my lower arms 18mm and run 24mm gearbox x member and im still getting the same noise, only noticible really with 31s as it revs harder. any ideas? what dimensions are you guys running?

lift
ive got 7'' spring lift in my wagon and i dropped the gearbox down 10mm and thats all .but it would probly better to put a spacer on the diff end as all u would have to do on that end is buy longer bolts or cut your tailshaft and weld a bit in and get it balanced
i wouldnt cut the shaft.nastytroll wrote:don't cut and shut the shaft.
Have you checked how much spline you have engaged?
i just thought because of having such a large lift and extended lower arms (18mm) contact area might be on the small side, dont want a shaft to let go anyrime soon. rather make a spacer at work, then know im safe
