hi all first post in the Mitsu section, looked around for a while but no luck.Just after some info for a mate of mine, he got a set of tyres off me 31" equivelant i think but in a 16.He got one fitted today to his stock triton rim but it would barely turn and wasn't driveable. The tyre shop said rims werent availale for the trition??can a few people let me know what brand of sunrayser rims they have and what offset suits.I think the front end will be getting wound up a it too and a 2" body lift may happen. What stud pattern are they?same as my hilux?
thanks,matt

98 triton rim info
sierra truggy,37 sticky treps,propane,6.5s and disconnect,lux diffs with spools,16" fox shox,hydro steer.
Hi Matt
We really need to know which model Triton he has, as the latest model requires a significantly different (and harder to find) rim than the earlier models.
Given the "not available" comment, I would guess it's the latest model, because earlier models will take Patrol rims pretty easily. For the latest model, they are hard to find, but late model Pajero fitments should also work - I think.
I have NFI why a 31" tyre wouldn't fit on his stock rim. Got pics? Was he there to see it, or is there a possibility that the tyre shop was fobbing him off?
