G/box balance pipe
My ln106 has a hose connecting the gearbox and transfercase filler plugs. Is it possible for the gearbox to pump its oil into the transfercase or vice versa?. That is the reason the pipe is there I assume. My concern is because the gearbox filler is higher it will be constantly low on oil.
have seen on cruisers the oil may go either way and the balance pipe keeps them alive reasonably well but the real fix is to drop off the transfer and fix the seal that is leaking in the first place. I havent had a lot to do with rolluxes so cant really comment on wether or not your gbox will starve (or your transfer) but a balance pipe is really only a patch up, not really a proper fix.

Why Dont you just Crack the filler plug on the transfer case and if its got more oil in it than you put in there then its got a imbalance,
Then you know to pull the transfer off and replace the seal
