hey guys, just got back from the park, awesome weekend, and dave i understand why you had to give crazy directions in his own house to ask how to spell words after seeing him go the wrong way on numerous occasions and thats with a navi in the vehicle aswell haha,
Awesome weekend awesome stages, today was very good, good to see the super charged gq drive both winch hills and put on an awesome show for the crowd, and also awesome to see barbie drive one of them aswell and give the other hill an awesome go, and from what i saw only one other vehicle drove one of todays winch hills and that was team swamp donkey who put on an awesome show aswell.
Congrats to dave and his team for putting on a great weekend and good work to all competitors also!!!! i will post up some photos when i get a chance, cheers mosko.

team barbie made it into the top ten today, was one of only three to drive a stage and then had a nice clean run with winch on the other stage so i think they would have finsished uo near the pointy end

2nd place - a great result considering the problems we had with the car. We had no brakes all weekend, broke a tie rod end on stage 7 which almost caused the car rollover (but still got in within DNF after a quick repair on track), rolled the car over on GPS, and then to finsih off the weekend we broke a CV on stage nine.

Great drive and stage win for Barbie on stage nine.

The new MAXXIS tyres were unreal.

Thanks Dave and his crew for a great weeekend. See you up at Rocky again in September for 8-day.

We have put a few pictures of the weekend up on our website

ARB XWC Round 2

:D :D :D

Yes it was a top weekend. Thanks to my small band of helpers that make it possible. Job well done, because with out you it would not happen.

Big thanks to the CQ spectators (99.9% of you) that really showed how good a crowd can be, it is a pity about the .01% that only want to cause trouble.

I will also add that there is one big ASSHO.. in Rocky that stole lights of Claytons Towing Hilux while parked outside the Glenmore Motel on Sunday night, he must have been one of the spectators out at the event and wanted them for his own vehicle, it would be in your best interest to return them to ARB in Rocky and no question asked. Because they were a one of, and police will be called if found on any vehicle in that area or beyond. So if you know of someone that wants to sell a LED light, let us know. And if you happen too buy one be prepared to be caught out.

I am currently getting ready to start my Angel Adventure and will try and post full scores & times tomorrow night when I get into Muttaburra.

Again top weekend & thanks to all.

See you at the EFS XI in September, remember entry is free with a $500 donation to Angel Flight Australia.

Cheers
