1lt-1.3lt same or not the same

Post by gunnas.mc »

are 1lt transfer cases different to 1.3lt
i was looking at a weld on brace in classifieds that suits 1.3lt transfer case and a 4.16:1 reduction box
i just thought 1lt and 1.3 lt transfer cases were the same :?:
i want to buy a aftermarket transfer case for my lwb 1lt. its not slow enough in low range
what box / ratio do i need?

It will fit, BUT, you need to look at size of the drive shaft flanges. These can be swapped over in most cases. Is yours a Maruti ? if so, check out the "Stupid Maruti thread".

Experience is something you don't get, until just after you need it.
