hey just wondering if anyone has any neat idears for land/ground anchor designes
after something as light as possible but yet still has the streth and works and possiblly foldable too?

Portable Rescue Tree is about the best folding design I have seen.

Tigerz11 has some that are "similar" from China - but they are a little heavy for my liking.

I'll make up my own PRT one day - ARB charges too much.

The ground Grabber is one of the best i've seen in action at OBC and Cliffhanger etc..

The angles and lengths are so critical to having one bite that it is normal for home made ones to be useless! I've seen a lot that are a waste of time.
93 Nissan Pathfinder / Terrano Turboed VH45, GQ Trans and T-case, coil overs, hydraulic winch and fair bit of other stuff. (Currently a pile of parts in the workshop)

I can see it now, another light weight pop ritited alloy contraption? Maybe add a label that says it doesn't need to be strong because I won't use it much?
