Thanks fore the rap Hobzee. Glad to be of help. Happy you can get them up there with help from others. Would hate to have paid for the airfreight to that remote location.

just had a word the the copper in Ivhoe the Cobb hwy is open now but if they get any more rain they may shut it so if you are heading that way it may pay to give them a ring. they gave me a number to ring if you can't get them it is 0880915155. please ring one of them as it is a long back track if you get there and the road is shut.

Interesting, thanks for the info and please post up any further updates if you can. We were planning on heading up early Sat morning but may have to change plans depending on road closures.

no need to panic, just logged onto the weather site and their is no rain predicted for Ivanhoe, Wilcannia or White Cliffs for that matter for the next 7 days.....

Then again, who trusts the weather forecasters!!!!!!!

Been quite warm here, especially at nights, not too cold at all... the whole week is also predicted to be the same.....

Had huge dust storms today, no wind tonight all settling down now!!!!

The road to camp is an excellant dirt road ( better than the maintained RTA Cobb Hwy from Ivanhoe to Wilcannia )......

Trucks, caravans, trailers all good and easy to get into camp....

Speed limited to 40 km please, and as you approach camp down to 20 kph to supress dust and stop the track breaking up......

Today is housework and I fix my swivel housing. Tonight Johnno rocks up from Silver City in Broken Hill with the rest of the parts I need so I can go out woop woop on Sat and get the car back. The Silver City guys to the rescue AGAIN - thanks guys.

2nd lot of marshals rocked up last night and I think tonight's camp fire will be bigger again.

Know the feeling Mal, Jason had the truck on the dyno last night and discovered we have no rear brakes, calipers were ceased. We recon they may come in handy at some point of the comp so all fixed now.
