100 series solid axle lift 2" or 4"??

Yo. We just upgraded from our 80 to a 2002 105 cruiser. Looking at liftinf it, wanting to go 4" lift, just want to get some opinions from experience of either 4" springs (brand??) or 2" springs + 2" body lift.
Is body lift much of a hassle?
Any info or links to relevant threads appreciated

Hi Rob,
I have a 4" lift in my 105, using King springs. Haven't had any issues at all and thats even with the not so great Tough Dogs shocks.

As for 2" spring and 2" body lift I think it's a no go, well if you have SRS air bags in it.

G'day Steven,
I had a look at your build - in wagon form, is that just 4" spring lift? what size tyres are on it? the mudders i mean.
Did you use new arms or bushes? ( i should just read the thread)

35s (315/75 R16 MTZ)

I have changed the front arms but it wasn't necessary, still have a set of castor plates sitting in the garage from before the arms went on.

Gday mate, i have a 2002 4500 auto. just installed iron man kit for 4 inch lift. definitely a better car off road now, in fact no comparison to when it was standard. but, the kit has now placed the steering relay rod too close to the suspension mounting arms. i havent got this soughted out yet, but its definitely worth watching out for if you install this brand of kit. i reckon once you lift it 4 inches you should run over some of the same tracks you toured while you had the standard set up on boared, and you will be shocked at the difference in the vehicle capability. also recommend moving the spare wheel out to a rear carrier at the same time, it enhances the extra ground clearance even more. overall, i urge you to do the lift mate, your side steps will love you for it.
