Well Max's jeep is on the trailer now ready to tie down and load up all the gear. laurie Griffiths picks his truck up today after having a fair bit of work done to it. Hopefully they put a block under the accelerator to slow him down a bit. haha. We're heading off from Sydney today with a stop over in Dubbo tonight to break up the trip. Nice a relaxed before the mayhem. See you all there tomorrow.

It's sunrise on Friday and almost all the marshals are hear, about 5 comp trucks and half the catering crew.

This morning the registration tent gets put up and this evening registrations start. All competitors are signing a banner as well as 2 x silverstone jackets. One jacket is raffled at $5 per ticket and proceeds go to anti cancer. The others get auctioned and proceeds go to the hard working marshals as a bonus. If anyone out there back home wants to buy a raffle ticket (drawn next friday night) pls pm me contact details and cr card (or sms me on 0417486637).

Today we take the marshals out to show them the stages.

Let the show begin. I need coffee

Tonight we have 2 stages
1. Up very long steep rocky escarpment - 99% will winch for sure. Carnage Canyon.

2. Motorkhana with a stretch of water at the end. I drove water twice with 8psi centipedes setting up and thought all would drive it - hence a short DNF - BUT every Marshal who has since driven the course has got bogged good time. With a short DNF they will have only 3 mins to winch out - can be done by the guys who can get it together. On this course the aggressive tyres will drive it.

10 am briefing today for all official people, 3pm briefing for everyone and 5pm departure from camp for a 6pm start. No mucking around - got 50 rigs to winch tonight.
