help with airtank/airlocker/airbags setup
hey,
I have airbags in the rear of my shorty cause of my stupidly low apartment carpark.
So everytime i head out, I need to pump them fully from bumpstops to ride height.
For this reason I would like to keep the pressure in the tank higher than the 100psi that lockers need.
So my question is, when I install the airlocker, what is the best setup to keep the main tank pressure high, but still provide for the lockers?
thanks in advance.

Or can you not just run the air to the lockers from the "main tank" thru a reg?chimpboy wrote:Second small tank with its own regulator, fed from the first tank?

why remove the guage ??Dirty wrote:Get a small regulator, and set it to 90psi (or whatever) then run the lockers off that. Reg should be able to screw directly into the main tank.
Mine cost me about $30 for reg with gauge, once the pressure has been set, remove the gauge and plug with a bung.

I got tank and all bits from Probag in Sydney.Quadcamshorty wrote:cheers guys.
Dirty, where did you get the reg from? Enzed/pirtek or more specialised?
I am using the mini-reg towards the bottom of this page: http://www.probag.com.au/components%202.html
its a ford..... ,
I removed the gauge because the reg comes straight out of the tank which is mounted under the car. The gauge would just get smashed up and is not needed once set anyway. I am also using a 110-135psi switch, so technically the air tank never gets down under reg pressure (90psi) so it should always read 90psi.
