Looks like another awesome Cliffhanger by Navrun. Wish we were there to join in on the fun.

Most of the rigs look pretty awesome this year with lots of big mods, sure to be plenty of high speed action out on those paddocks to test the skill of both car and team.

Gee is Queensland going to take honours of a win and best state overall again.

Good luck to everyone but most of all

...........GO QUEENSLANDERS...........

Well Max's little Jeep has finally died after only 200k of sunday driving. There are a few things in the engine knocking on the wall trying to get out. That stuff kind of happens when you lose all oil pressure. lol. So we are packing up early to head home tomorrow along with a couple of other competitors. We did get top ten in a few stages though and were doing ok. This really is a horspower event and is catered for those that do really well on the first night and made very hard for those that don't. The stages are exellent but the organisation has been let down and there is a bit of a sour taste with competitors for the perceived special treatment of the top runners. But having said that it has been a fantastic experience all the same. The pics really don't show just how much fun and how hard some of these stages are.

GO QLD

Heard from team Madica today. Things are very tight at the top, AKA Assasan had a Dnf & a few bad runs yesterday that allowed every one else to catch up. Today they are doing Figure 8 sprint run the 5 hr GPS At day & a 3hr Gps run tonight. Tommrow they have the sprint run around aryes rock & the cliff. Still could be any ones as there is only 90 odd points between the top ten.

For those wanting to know about Robbies New truck (AVA team) Apparently only having a few teething problems nothing major wrong but is having a ball driving it down there.

Madica broke a stering component that caused there roll in the creek bed.

Thats all the news i could get as phone reception wasnt that great.

Top effort from team EFS QLD Brian & Dave still in the top 10.
Excellent to see a Father Son team doing so well.

I will say it again GO QLD

Ok, just a few today, having power issues.

Yesterday saw 2 short stages and a Nav stage, I was lucky enough as part of the media crew to go out on course to a safe point to watch some of the cars do the GPS stage.

It was great to experience, but I now appreciate why there aren’t any spectators on these stages.

The short courses were great though and here are a few from the day.
