gday all
im looking at gettin another lux between 88 and 95 model and getting coil conversion done maybe with gq or 80 series diffs or something along those lines and also most likely commo conversion with auto box or maybe dyna 5 speed box. or maybe go something with a little more grund like a v8
im just after some rough prices of what some of you guys have paid and where you got it done at soo i know what im gettin myself into if i decide to go ahead with the idea. any prices advise or ideas would be great.

lux coils and commo conversion

this is what i put in the isuzu section about commodore v6's
if you want to put the 3.8 into the jackaroo and you have an auto then the the comodore 3.8 will bolt straight up to the auto bellhousing but you will need to modify the jack torque converter (or just the feet so it will bolt up to the v6 flex plate) and then do the engine mounts and wiring and your all set to go but remember this only works on the automatic transmission as it is a slightly different pattern to the manual bellhousing i hope this helps others out there
this also works with any vehicle with an asin warner auto g/box as the 94 jackeroo/rodeo auto bellhousing will bolt to this g/box and these g/boxes are found in a variety of cars including toyota's so if you have a car with an asin warner auto then all you need is a bellhousing from a 94 jackaroo/rodeo and a slightly modified converter and your in buisiness without having to spend $$$$$$ for a marks addaptor

whats the pros and cons of a 3rz compared to a commo v6 like power and how do they bolt up do u still need a conversion kit or so the bolt straight up to the old box and mounts? the 3rz might be a better idea as ide probably be able to keep the old box without it blowing up on me in too short of time like one most likely would with a commo v6 or v8
Just sold my extra cab with the commo. motor for $10k, would of been an awsome rig with coils under it. Highly recommend the the the commo motor had it in mine for 8yrs done right they run great.
96 hilux ex/cab,commadore v6, lokka front, lifted, 4.88's, 33's,duel fuel,trac bar,climax drop pin rear shackles..
