Help needed with clunking noise

Post by gleno »

Hi I have a 93 NH paj with the torsion bars wound right up etc when the drivers front suspension compresses there is a strange clunking sound from the suspension at first I thougfht it was the cv's so I had them replaced but its still there I have looked under it and inspected that area but cannot see anything sus.The torsion bars have been wound up to the bump stops so Im thinkin it might be from that any ideas? I have heard that it could be the steering stops if so what are they?
