GU Suspension help, 5" lift but which brand?

Post by 8UFF35T »

Heyy,

My 4inch lift is sagging, they're nearly 2years old and now I want something new and ofcourse bigger.

My questions are, for a 5inch what shocks would give me the most travel? I love how it flexes but always, I want something more!

In my suspension setup now, I have fitted tough dog Heavy Duty coils, they're yellow, would you guy's reccomend these coils again for a 5inch? Why I chose Heavy duty was because I like the patrol to stay high, and yet these coils are alot better than dosbian that I owned before.

I might buy these kits from ZORDO, or SUSPENSION stuff, if you guys know anywhere else, please do tell me. Im after quality, im chasing superior kits because 2 tough dog shocks have leaked, and I see alot of competition trucks have superior parts. Im leaning against Bose shocks, are these shocks the go for me?

Please help, hopefully I will be taking my old pearents for a trip soon, I know 5inch is abit hardcore, but thats just my needs for the weekend :D

Thanks,

why? Your only running 35's, you dont need more than 3inch.
