Most people just use low pressure inline fuel filters.

I see that as a bad idea.
the air in your intake is being sucked into your engine, therefore the intake pipe is under a constant vacuum. with a negative pressure (or vacuum) in the diffs, you increase the chances of water getting sucked in passed the axle seals when you do a water crossing.

It is like a concertina rubber bellows, it expands when the oil gets hot and retracts when it cools, complete sealed system :armsup: , Polaris uses a really cool diaphragm version on some of its 4 wheelers, that looks a bit less vulnerable.

how do they stand up to the abuse that we put on our parts e.g. mud/rocks etc.
