Brick to the Rock

Post by Drexxle »

Hey,

Some of you guys would remember me from some 4x4 events in QLD, NSW, i got alot of pics.

Some rockcrawling here http://www.shotbydigital.com

Im planning a trip in the next couple of months to Lake Eyre. This isnt going to be an ordinary trip. I own a 1975 Leyland Mini, rebuilt over the last couple of years. This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Mini. My mission is to take this little car to Lake Eyre and across the Oodnadatta Track to Coober Pedy.

Marree is first on the agenda, and is the last outpost until Coober Pedy.

If any of you are interested in joining me in a 4x4 to provide support, then shoot me an email. Im paying my own way, and looking for sponsors to help get the Mini across the desert.

If any of you own a mini, then join me for part of the drive.

Check out online http://www.googajoob.com

Im leaving brisbane this week, and will likely take around two months to get to Adelaide, where i will then travel north to Marree.

just attended the mini50 show in melbourne and have added a heap more pics to the galleries, so enjoy the mini show and the travels from Brisbane to Melbourne, next stop Adelaide.

Been a good trip, blew CV joints over 4500km's cracked a radiator and smashed a suspension trumpet. All in all the car has done very well and is still doing well.

ENJOY!!!
