Logan Districts 4x4 Club - July Night Run

Where - Logan Village Pine Forest - Enter under the Powerlines off Waterford-Tamborine Road, 2nd Pylon in.

When - 6.00pm Meet - 7.00pm Leave 18/07/09

What - it is a mapped night run - 3 maybe 4 checkpoints, if you want to complete the checkpoints lockers and aggressive tyres are recommended, however if you just want drive around and not attempt any of the checkpoints a mildly modified 4wd with decent tyres will be able to get around.

the run is rated medium - hard.

All vehicles must have front and rear recovery points, and minimum of 1 Snatch Strap and 2 rated shackles all in good condition.

All vehicles must be able to self recover if required, although this is a club run event, it is not our responsibility to provide recovery, it is recommended to all people attending that they assess all sections prior to attempting them. We however will not leave any one stranded in the middle of the bush and do whatever we can to get everyone out.

as is a condition with all night runs these are a drug and alcohol free events. This apply's for drivers as well as passengers. No exceptions will be made and anyone caught in breach of this will be asked to leave.

The run starts and finishes at the same point and there is no road on this run, and plenty of room to park trailers and tow rigs off the road.

So its a good chance for all those comp guys with trailer rigs to come out and have a play.

probably not for a fair while as the next is in sept and will be somewhere on the south side. the runs up at the glasshouse have always been done by rocklux and myself and we've done three up there in thel last year, so taking a break for a while.This is why the club is always after new members to get people to put on or help put on night runs.sometimes it's a little frustrating that everyone wants to go on the runs yet no-one wants to put them on.Also don't forget that you are only allowed to go on three runs before you need to join the club.
