hey all as the title suggests i'm chasing some advice on installing a new steering box in my gq. Cheers DAN

hey there isnt mutch to it ay just undo your oil lines ( oil will run everywere get a bucket and some rags dont do it on your drivway)
undo the stearing link and then undo the 2 bolts from the coupling then undo the 4 that hold it on and then put it back together and ya done

once u have the new one on jack the front wheels of the ground and fill the pump up and with the car running steer from left to right a dozen times or so continually filling the oil as u bleed the air out

thats about all the advice i can give ya

that was about what i was going to do cheers ......What about setting up the box centre so i get the same number of turns lock to lock ?? is there any trick to it ??

just leve your steering wheel in middle position and when u install the box have it in middle aswell?

thats all i have done and havnt had any issyues befor

just becarefull about getting oil everywere

sounds like you have been spoiled with a rebuilt steerin box that has either had the pitman arm marked or replaced they same way it came off mousie :D i' m not that lucky the arm has just been put back on what looks to be nearly 180 degrees from where it should be. :x any suggestions ??
