ln106 diff ratios. whats best

Post by juzzo84 »

G'day guys

I currently have 4.55:1 ratio diffs under my diesel hilux. What ratio is the best for good economy when highway cruising with half a load on the back.

depends on what tyres your running too- on stock 205R16's the 4.3's are the best comprimise of power and economy, but on 33" muddies 4.3's are going to leave the old 2.8D feeling very athsmatic
2005 HDJ100 Manual, ARB bar, XD9000 winch, ARB rooftop tent + awning, Drawers, Engel, 2" OME lift, 285/75R16 KM2's, iCom, HID XGT's.

I went to 4.8's with my turbo 2.8 running 33's or 35's. Puts the speedo pretty close too.
