Where do your Nissan CV's break?
Ok, need some answers here. Of all the genuine Nissan cv's you have broken, what has been the component that failed most of the time, just to generate some tech discussion.
Built, not bought.

I have only ever broken 3 in my varous mq/mk's 2 the bell parted company and 1 broke the stub off the end of the cv at the bell but that was an after market one.

GQ CV's
Never broken one in 6 years of wheeling in my GQ — closest I came was poping a freewheeling hub. I have always run 35's + twin lockers and for the last two years it has had crawler gears. Drive with some finesse and I recon you'll have a hard time breaking them. I'm sure most will say, 'where's the fun in that!'

I've broken 2. first was a 12 yr old genuine one. pulling someone in reverse 37" claws loosing and getting traction, high revs and on full lock. completely shattered everything on that one. replaced that with an aftermarket job and broke that about 6 mths later. smashed the bell, stripped the axle and scored everything in the surrounding area.
replaced again with genuine from the wreckers and have had no probs since.
