gq worth while??

Post by redhotzook »

looking at buying a shorty gq.
ive found one with a blown head for $3500. im an engine rebuilder so thats an easy fix for me.
but the truck has 35" centipedes, 2 inch body lift, fantastic interior, crud paint, one hell weird sunroof that takes up 2/3's of the roof. and a set of 31 all terrains. oh and a fairly big winch on the front.

sound like a good deal?
anyone have anything like it that they wanna sell me? max 5000?

because the reco on the head is a weekend job for me, and i have budgeted for it. $2500 for a brand new bare head. butttt if its only the head gasket, then thats an easy fix and wont cost me any more than the cost of a gasket set.
orrr ive got a 350chev sitting in the back of the workshop that i could build up and throw in.... how do the v8's go 4x4 wise??
